Absalom Jones Commemoration

Christ Church Cathedral will host the Diocesan Commission for Dismantling Racism’s annual Absalom Jones Commemoration on Saturday, Feb. 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The event, “Repairing the Breach Through the Lens of Economic Justice,” will feature a keynote presentation by Ms. Valarie E. Patton, senior vice president of economic inclusion and talent attraction and the executive director of St. Louis Business Diversity Initiative (and a member of All Saints/Ascension Church). Participants will also engage in experiential activities and dialogue sessions examining the role of institutional racism in our region’s economy. You must register for this free event no later than Feb. 3, and you can access the registration form here.
