We build the life of Christ Church Cathedral. We cherish our faithfulness to service as well as the bonds we have between us. Consider how you might participate in our faith community.
Our Cathedral couldn’t run on clergy and staff alone.
Members of the congregation volunteer to perform all manner of tasks -- from welcoming churchgoers on Sunday mornings to putting on the parish picnic to preparing the altar for services. They tend the Cathedral’s gardens, read the Old and New Testament lessons and, in winter, collect mittens and socks for the homeless downtown.
The Cathedral Life Committee, one of the standing committees of Chapter, coordinates all of their labors and helps the congregation connect spiritually and socially by its efforts. Among some of the events organized by the Cathedral Life’s Parish Life group are a Christmas Brunch with our homeless and working poor downtown neighbors, the Parish Picnic and Celebration Sunday.
