Chapter & Committees

The Chapter
is the legal governing and decision-making body of the cathedral, consisting of elected lay representatives of the congregation, elected at-large representatives from the Diocese of Missouri and ex-officio members.  (In a regular parish, this body is called a vestry.)  Its duties include approving the budget and making policy.  Each Chapter has a senior and a junior warden.  Chapter members are also heads of parish committees or commissions.  Chapter members are elected by the congregation to three-year terms.  The Chapter meets the third Thursday of the month.

Below is an archive of approved Chapter minutes.  You can find a report about the latest Chapter meeting—before we post the minutes approved the following month by Chapter—at May 2013 Chapter Notes.
