The Rev. Susan Naylor

The Rev. Susan Naylor was a member of the first graduating class of the Episcopal School for Ministry and was ordained to the deaconate in 2004. She has served at Emmanuel, Webster Groves; St. Martin’s, Ellisville; and Church of the Good Shepherd, Town and Country. In December 2017, she joined the Cathedral staff as deacon.

During the week Susan is an oncology nurse navigator for the SLUCare Cancer Center. She has a heart for health ministry, food ministry and working in our community. She has been on three mission trips to South Sudan and one to Nicaragua. She has served a term as archdeacon of the Diocese and on the Companion Diocese Committee, the Diocesan Hunger Committee, the Diocesan Council and the Board of Examining Chaplains.

Susan was born and raised in rural southeast Michigan and has been living in St. Louis for the past 30 years. She is married to Earl Naylor, a member of the Cathedral, and delights in being a stepmom to his three adult children.
