Giving

Support the Cathedral
There are many ways you can support the Cathedral’s ministries. Donating financially is just the most visible way, enabling those who work for the church to continue to serve the Kingdom. Your money helps strengthen the “Jesus Movement,” as our Presiding Bishop Michael Curry calls it, a movement of faith, of “evangelism, of making disciples and our witness through public service and public advocacy.” We are truly grateful for everything you are willing to spare.

Pledges
If you are or are becoming a Cathedral member, part of being a part of the community is pledging a financial gift for its support. You can pledge online or contact Cathedral Administrator Annette Carr at 314-231-3454 for a pledge form.

Tribute Fund Gifts
Make a gift in honor of someone’s life, a marriage, a birth or another life event. Make your gift online, and indicate in the memo line in whose honor you are giving.

Or you can make a tribute gift by sending a check made out to Christ Church Cathedral to 1210 Locust Street, St. Louis, MO 63103-2332. Indicate in the memo line in whose honor the gift is being given.

Planned Giving
Make a gift through your will or trust, retirement funds, gift annuities or insurance policy. For more information on estate planning or to make a commitment to the Cathedral, please contact The Rev. Kathie Adams-Shepherd at 314-255-1640.

Altar Flowers
Donate altar flowers in thanksgiving for a birthday, anniversary or other special event, or in memory of a loved one. The donation is noted in the Sunday bulletin on your scheduled date. The suggested donation is a minimum of $90. Note: Flower donations are not scheduled during Lent, as there are no flowers on the altar, and on Christmas and Easter, when the Altar Guild takes up special collections. Donate and schedule flowers online, indicating in the memo line the event or person you are honoring.

Communion Supplies
During Holy Communion, also known as the Lord’s Supper, Mass and Holy Eucharist, we gather at Christ’s table to share the bread and wine and be in communion with God and each other. You can make a contribution to cover the cost of bread, wine and candles for the Eucharist. The suggested donation to the Altar Guild to cover communion supplies is a minimum of $50. Donate communion supplies online.

Contribute Time and Talent
There are many ministries and committees that can use your gifts and interests for God’s mission at the Cathedral. View time and talent opportunities at the Cathedral.
