The Red Doors Ministry invites the Cathedral community to help meet some specific needs at the St. Pius V Food Pantry in Tower Grove. Nearly all the families served by the pantry are immigrants and refugees — families working hard to make ends meet during an especially challenging time for newcomers to our community.

We are collecting several items that are in high demand on three Sundays — Sept. 13, 20, and 27. Items needed are:

• Lentils
• Oatmeal
• Pancake mix, preferably “just add water” varieties
• Syrup

Regular-sized packages are especially appreciated because pantry volunteers cannot divide large bulk containers into smaller portions.

Even one item can make a meaningful difference. Together, we can offer practical support and a warm welcome to our immigrant and refugee neighbors.
