Worship Times

The Cathedral welcomes back those who are comfortable gathering inside for worship services. Registration is required by the previous Wednesday to attend the in-person services at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Masks are mandatory, and attendees should arrive at least 20 minutes before the service to check in and be guided to your seat. Entry and exit will be only through the main 13th Street doors and the Locust Street handicap entrance.

The 10:30 a.m. service will be livestreamed each week for those not ready to gather inside and for Cathedral members and friends who will continue to join us from around Missouri and the country.

Register by viewing information and links on the homepage under “Upcoming Events”.

Christ Church Cathedral has a rich and varied worship program that reflects the diversity of our congregation and our faith community.

Holy Eucharist, Rite I, 8 a.m.

At 8 a.m., worshipers enjoy a quiet, meditative atmosphere with emphasis upon the poetry of the spoken word. The service follows the traditional Rite I liturgy found in The Book of Common Prayer.

Choral Eucharist, Rite II, 10:30 a.m.

The 10:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist includes music and follows the traditional Rite II liturgy with communion administered from the High Altar.

The 10:30 a.m. service includes a special Liturgy of the Word in adjacent Bofinger Chapel. A “storyteller” leads the lesson, accompanied by an adult “shepherd” who helps direct the group. This age-appropriate service is designed for children ages 3½ to 10. Younger children are welcome if accompanied by an adult. Children return to the Cathedral at the Peace.

Morning Prayer

We offer a weekly morning prayer at 8:40 a.m. in Bofinger Chapel on all but the second Saturday of each month, when we offer a Recovery Eucharist in the Chancel.
