Worship Times

Christ Church Cathedral has a rich and varied worship program that reflects the diversity of our congregation and our faith community.

The 10:30 a.m. service is livestreamed each week for those Cathedral members and friends who want to join us from around Missouri and the country.

Sunday

Holy Eucharist, Rite I, 8 a.m.

At 8 a.m., worshipers enjoy a quiet, meditative atmosphere with emphasis upon the poetry of the spoken word. The service follows the traditional Rite I liturgy found in The Book of Common Prayer. Young people from babies to teens are welcome at services, with child-friendly spaces reserved for them at the front of the Cathedral, complete with carpets, floor pillows, child-sized chairs and activity bags.

Choral Eucharist, Rite II, 10:30 a.m.

The 10:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist includes music and follows the traditional Rite II liturgy with communion administered at the head of the aisle in front of the altar and at the baptismal font. Young people from babies to teens are welcome at services, with child-friendly spaces reserved for them at the front of the Cathedral, complete with carpets, floor pillows, child-sized chairs and activity bags.

Morning prayer is offered Monday through Friday on the Cathedral Facebook page any time after 7 a.m.

Morning Prayer Saturday

Morning Prayer with the Cathedral Friars is on the Cathedral Facebook page any time after 7 a.m.

Compline

Live with the Dean Monday through Friday at 7:30 p.m. on the Cathedral Facebook page. All previous Compline services are available for viewing on the Facebook page.

Seasonal Worship Services

There are special services and celebrations throughout the year, i.e., Advent Lessons and Carols, Holy Week preceding Easter, Flower Sunday, Special Diocesan baptisms and confirmations, and so on.
