
Invest STL and the Recorder of Deeds Office are coordinating to support St. Louis City homeowners impacted by the May 16 tornado. They are seeking volunteers to commit just two hours to make calls to help residents in accessing official copies of their property deeds at no cost. These documents are often required for insurance claims, FEMA applications, or verifying.
Volunteers will use their personal phones (with the option to block their number, if preferred), and will be provided with a Google Resident Spreadsheet, a call script, and training support to ensure they feel prepared and confident.
Calls can be made anytime between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m., excluding Sundays, with a pause from noon to 1 p.m. to allow for list consolidation.
